It is with a heavy heart that I, on behalf of LucarneHaven announce the shutdown of Combat Engineers, Vanguards and Reaper Battalion. While this may seem sudden there have been a multitude of reasons as to why this decision has been made. I’ll list some below, and some may become more apparent in the future.
- CE has for some time now, been impossible to balance on the border. We have a very fortified version of what can be found in medic classes within divisions such as MP. Due to this, these items will be receiving a slight buff to make up for what is being lost in CE.
- Units have been widely favored by the community. A recent poll concluded that the vast majority of TNI prefer Units to standard divisions. They may have been a part of the past, but a strong support was shown from the community for their re-introduction.
- Unfortunately TNI does not have infinite resources. Because of this, what has been invested to your front line/support divisions will be diverted to support the reintroduction of units.
- There have been structural issues within all 3 of these divisions leading to the need for an inevitable fresh start. More will be elaborated on this in the future when Luc is able to make his own announcement.
In case you are not familiar with this concept, there will be three units: Wolfpack, Marines and Recon. It is similar to divisions, however instead of being able to join all three you must pick one. You can still stay in your beloved divisions such as TNI:C and Military Police while being a member of a unit. All officers of NRB, CE and VG will be offered the ability to apply for officership in one of these 3 units before they open. Additionally we are also looking for a way to repurpose the Recon gamepass morph before reintroducing the Recon unit. Current members of these divisions will also be given the opportunity to show interest in the unit they prefer to join via this form: https://forms.gle/4vYjfgf6PAro23WR9 I, and the majority of my High Command will be participating in the construction of these units. I will be playing a major role in their reintroduction, so please do reach out if you have any questions/concerns. We hope this brings new life into the future of TNI and a friendly competition between these units. Once again, if you have any questions or concerns, you may forward these to the current directors of these divisions or to JBF3, ChesserGamerTTV and Inccipium who will be assisting in reintroducing units. However we look to release more detailed information about these units soon. It has been one hell of a ride within CE, and I for one have enjoyed every moment.
